 We were delighted to have the opportunity to help modernise this existing property with bags of character.

​

 The application site is just a stones throw from the beach and yet the existing property doesn't have a single bedroom with an unrestricted sea view. Hence the brief was to provide a new master bedroom suite which both maximises the sea view but also has a rear balcony overlooking the expansive rear garden. The proposals also seek to improve on what is at present a very tired and incoherent rear elevation which has been added to over the years, with a number of modern two storey and single storey extensions with floor to ceiling thin profile aluminium windows and doors. We've even managed to squeeze in a home office come gym in the rear garden. 

 A number of additions will ensure that the property is truly sustainable going forward, including ground source heat pump and underfloor heating throughout, solar panels and rainwater harvesting. 

 The application also seeks to improve on the existing access and turning arrangements with a new horseshoe driveway to the front.  .
