Morris Architectural Design have recently obtained householder planning permission for a two storey side extension and single storey rear extension to an existing detached property in Ashford, Middlesex, which seeks to almost double the footprint of the existing dwelling and provides a spacious 5 bedroom family home.

We were intially instructed by the client to maximise the plot value and had looked at the possibility of squeezing an additonal 2 bedroom property on the site in a semi-detached arrangement however this proved not to be feasible.

Through a coordinated approach with both the applicant and the local authority we were able to secure permission which almost doubles the footprint of the existing property and in doing so, significantly increase the sell on value of the property.
