A replacement dwelling nestled within the North Somerset Green Belt.

The proposed dwelling will be built using Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) ensuring high levels of thermal efficiency and air tightness. It will integrate an air source heat pump (ASHP), mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) roof mounted PV panels, thermally efficient windows and doors and automated blinds to mitigate light spill.

As part of the design process we were able to reduce the proposed floor area of the replacement dwelling, in comparison to a previously approved extension and renovation of the property, by almost 6%. We were also able to offer a reduction in glazing of over 35%.
