Our client approached us in the spring of 2024 to explore the possibility of replacing his fairly large, but extremely dilapidated, redundant existing property with a contemporary new dwelling within the New Forest National Park.

 

The proposals seek to re-position the new dwelling to both take advantage of the superb views out across the National Park but also maximise solar gain for proposed roof mounted solar panels. Sustainability is at the core of this design, with a wide range of renewables, locally sourced timber cladding and stone to be quarried from local quarries. The proposed dwelling will be carbon negative during it's entire life cycle and will seek to provide a positive contribution towards both the character of the national park and the wider environment as a whole.
