 We were approached by our clients who wanted to create a space which connected with the garden to the side of their new build property in Berry Pomeroy. The initial application was refused by the local authority for dubious reasons which were inevitabley overturned at appeal.

 

 The new space provides a direct connection with the garden to the rear and is filled with light, whilst the existing gable wall of the dwelling had no outlook into the garden. Fantastic work yet again by all involved at J.K.Somers & Sons. Also thanks to RYALL Structural Engineers for their input on the structural calculations and to NB installations for a fantastic job on the glazing which the extension was built around from the outset. 

Also huge thank you as well to Tim Barker of Wreyland Rural Planning for his invaluable input in ensuring a successful appeal process and enabling this extension to go ahead.
