The clients approached us for this project with a desire to explore the possibility of an extension to provide an additional bedroom to their 2 bedroom bungalow to serve the needs of their expanding family. Unfortunately the size of the rear garden meant that a rear extension wasn't feasible and so the decision was taken to extend to the front of the property, something which can be tricky to argue. However the extension was designed to both be subservient to and compliment the existing bungalow, not only adding much needed space but also providing a little bit of curb appeal to the front of the property.
