 This single storey rear extension replaces an old extension that was leaking and cold and draughty. The works involved the removal of the existing external wall to provide an open plan living, dining and kitchen space, complete with a separate study to accommodate the recent change in working conditions that many have experienced.

​

 The proposals included a new raised patio area and linked the existing garage to the main dwelling with a flat roof canopy.

​

 High level windows were utilised on the boundary to draw light into the kitchen space at the rear of the new open plan space, whilst a large open window provided views out into the garden to allow the children to play in the vast garden 

(complete with it's own stream) in safe sight.

​

 We obtained planning permission in early June 2021 and works are expected to start on site in the spring of 2022.
