We were approached with the exciting task of transforming this dated property which is tucked away in Thatcham, Berkshire.

​

The existing property had been left to ruin and was in need of a complete overhaul. Much to the clients surprise, behind the lovely blue paint that the previous occupier had decided to cover the dwelling in, were beautiful natural limestone walls which will be exposed and brought back to their original state. The proposals involved demolition of a previously poorly built extension to the rear, the complete renovation of the existing dwelling, significant extensions, a replacement roof and associated landscaping works, with the aim of providing a large 5 bedroom family home with open plan living and spaces that both let in more light but also provide a better connect with the existing garden.

Works are currently ongoing to bring the existing property into a habitable state, with works to the extension expected to commence Spring 2022.
