Testimonials

I spent a lot of time looking for an Architect, reading online reviews, I then decided to look on the local planning portal to compare drawings & I came across Morris Architectural Design. So professional, friendly communication, great attention to detail & worked many hours to ensure everything ran smoothly. Planning was approved & I cannot praise Nathaniel enough, absolutely fantastic service. Would highly recommend!

Nathaniel is a breath of fresh air, not only for his precise and timely professional expertise but also for his excellent communication skills. All architectural professionals that I have dealt with are good with the technical stuff but not so good with communication. Nathaniel always keeps me updated with progress (or lack of, when dealing with certain local authorities) and I never have to chase for an update. Nathaniel is highly recommended and I shall be using him much more in the future.

My wife and I enlisted Nathaniel’s services to design a single storey wrap around extension for our 1930s semi detached house in Bristol. All in all, the service he provided was second to none, and moreover an absolute bargain!

Nathaniel was efficient in conducting his site visit and was swift to turn around his initial drawings for our consideration. From start to finish, his email responsiveness was more than we could have hoped for when we chose him to oversee the design for our project; he replied within 6 hours to every email we sent him and was happy to accommodate our requests, questions and alterations throughout the whole process.

Nathaniel was a complete professional through all our interactions, offering us a range of options and sourcing a range of quotes for design features, structural engineering work and building regs applications. What we (as complete building project novices) valued more than anything were the reassurances and explanations that he offered us at every stage of the project.

Overall we could not be more happy with the service that Nathaniel provided. His plans are crystal clear and our builders are entirely happy to work from them. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Nathaniel is an absolute pleasure to work with both over email and in person. Nathaniel has visited my property and produced drawings which have just been approved by planning. We’ve had many conversations over email, adjustments have been made and ideas discussed. He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He responds to emails within hours! I can’t rate him highly enough. I look forward to working with him as my project continues.

Very efficient had drawings really quickly got us full planning permission would definitely recommend Nathaniel.

Nathaniel has been proactive and diligent throughout, keeping us fully informed as the work continued. He has been great at responding to any queries and comments we have had. As well as putting together conceptual plans, he dealt with some back-and-forth with planning in a professional and capable way on our behalf, and has been a really friendly and helpful person to work with. Highly recommended.

Nathaniel is a very conscientious person. He’s got me through to full planning permission and is most processional. He answers emails very quick and is always at the end of the phone. He is there for you every step of the way. His fees are very reasonable and the standard of service is beyond my expectations, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Perfect service throughout the whole process of designing and planning a large extension.
Very reliable and professional, highly recommended.

I employed Morris Architectural Design to guide me with obtaining planning permission for a change of use, and this was successful.

I had a few architects get in touch and the reason I went with Morris Architectural Design is because he gave a very clear breakdown on costs.

Another firm did as well but others were vague, whilst others just chewed my ear off on the phone for 30 minutes and basically wasted my time.

On initial inspection of the quotation it seemed to be the highest quote but upon examination it wasn’t; it was just that they had considered absolutely everything whereas others had carefully omitted some of the costings in order I think, to artificially give a lower quotation!

The quotation came back in good time, and importantly he stuck to it.
He set out time frames for complying drawings etc and stuck to these as well, he replied to every email normally within 24hrs but often within minutes, always polite and courteous, despite my flapping on occasions.

Came out on a Sunday to measure up and do the site meeting.

Other aspects of the planning process involving other firms; topography for example were all dealt with on my behalf and he shopped around to obtain the best prices as these could vary by hundreds of pounds.

He dealt with all the planning application process and the officer.

I would like to thank Nathaniel Morris for his unwavering commitment working against all odds in getting planning permission through for my property. It has taken a long long time but through no fault of Nathaniel, just the planning department’s ever changing staff, eternal pettiness and ridiculous rules. Nathaniel kept in there, calmly responding and obliging with the necessary tweaks, so great! Thanks Nathaniel, we got there in the end!! Highly recommended.

Nathaniel is very good in what is does and is very proactive. He keeps us informed at every stage. He did a few drawings and planning applications for us and were very satisfied with his involvement from the start till end. He responds to the email very promptly. I will highly recommend him.

Nathaniel has drawn up our plans for a 2 bedroom house he has been great support during the process of planning as I had no clue what I was doing he explained everything along the way and kept us up to date . I highly recommend

Nathaniel first put together some initial plans and really helped us decide on what we wanted. He was patient and took time to discuss our needs before submitting the planning application for us. He then drew up building regulation plans and kept us informed throughout. Costing were clear from the start and he answered our questions promptly. A friendly and professional service. Excellent!

Great design, great service and always a quick reply!
Nathaniel has done a great job with our extension. From the very first moment he was extremely helpful, professional and responsive. He has support us not only at the drawing phase but also during the building process. I would definitely hire him again!

Nathaniel Morris is friendly, helpful and very professional to deal with. Drew up our plans without delay, made changes speedily and without quibble. We really appreciate it. I would definitely recommend him.

Nathaniel provided planning drawings for a garage rebuild to become an office/ bedroom and workshop.

From the beginning he was very quick to respond to my questions. He provided a very detailed breakdown of the costs of his services for each stage but also an idea of the other hidden costs you may encounter (ecology, structural engineer etc). This gave us a great amount of understanding about wider costs before we proceeded.

Nathaniel is very approachable and listened to our requirements. He was quick to turn our ideas into drawings we could look at and amend.

He went above and beyond in helping us find some builders who could do the work, being a soundboard for any comments made by the builders about how it will be done which was great and reassuring.

He has stayed engaged in the project whilst it has been built providing additional help when needed and really wants to know that we are happy with the space, how the builders are doing etc which is a very nice personal touch.
