We’re delighted to share that planning permission has now been granted in Dartmoor National Park for the exciting new outdoor playground improvements at Hennock Community Primary School and Preschool!!
Working alongside Hennock Community Primary School PTFA and
Bridge Civil Engineering
, this fantastic project will deliver a range of new facilities designed to inspire outdoor learning and play, including:
🌿 A new lean-to roof over the EYFS outdoor area
🌉 A bespoke bridge play structure
🎨 A variety of new outdoor play and learning activities for children of all ages
The scheme will significantly enhance the school’s outdoor provision, creating an engaging, imaginative and weather-protected environment where children can learn, explore and develop through play.
The proposals also sought to deal with historical drainage issues on site and included the proposed installation of an attenuation tank and approval from SWW to discharge any additional surface water into the existing sewer.
We’re incredibly proud to have supported the school and PTA in bringing this vision a step closer to reality and look forward to seeing the transformed space enjoyed by pupils for many years to come.
